There could be a problem with security options. On one of the problem computers
examine the security options under Local Security Policy/security settings/local
policies/security options. There are four options for Microsoft network client/server
for digitally sign communications. Make sure those settings match one of the XP
computers that is not having the problem. Those security options are for SMB
