There are two delete entries in advanced permissions, be sure to uncheck both, but I
would just give them read/list/execute/write permissions to start with and be done
with it. Write permissions does not give a user the ability to delete a file. Make
sure that they are not members of a group [such as everyone] that has full/modify
permissions. Another thing to check is that the everyone group has no more than
read/list/execute/write permissions on the drive/root folder. --- Steve
