Harry,
IPC$ is shared by default, so Steven is correct - install anti-virus and
scan for viruses.
Uninstall and reinstall of "File and Printer Sharing" is also a good plan,
but you will lose all the shares that you have created.
I would try antivirus first and if the virus is cleaned you may not have to
do anything else. If the virus is cleaned and you still have the problem,
then uninstall/reinstall "File and Printer Sharing".
