Virus

Hi I did exactly the same thing and was plagued with
problems. I scanned the disk over the network (because
norton would not work locally).

Scan removed the virus not now I can't start any progams.

IE and Outlook work but nothing else (including regedit) I
get the message.

I get this message 'Cannot find the file xxxxx (same for
all programmes where xxxxx is the destination of the
program file) (or one of it's components) Make sure the
path and filename are correct and that all required
libraries are available'

The files do exist!

can anyone help?
