Ok, I've had enough of this and something weird is going
on again. I tried to install and run the Update advisor
for XP as a created admin and I get a message saying I
can't proceed, that I must have admin rights, which I do
and am not logging on to a domain and am not the member of
any other group and have placed no restrictions any other
    way.

K, so I log off and log back on as the "Built In Admin"
and I get the same message!!

What the heck is going on. I'm gonna cry. This is
ridiculous. I expect no answer to this. Who could
    possibly figure it out.
