Oh man -- false alarm. Last week I downloaded and installed PestPatrol
that's supposed to check for trojans, web pests, spyware, etc. It has a
component called CookiePatrol. Apparently every time it finds a
spywhere cookie, it deletes and BWOOPs you to let you know about it.
