       I agree with Jack . Do an ipconfig /displaydns sometime and you will be
amazed at all the activity form just going to a site or two. I would not be too
concerned if you have a properly configure firewall and use up to date virus/trojan
scan. I would suggest occasionally running something like Ad Aware or Spybot Search
and Destroy to find and clean the misc junk that those other programs will not.
Another thing that I personally do is to set my internet Web Content Zone security to
high and my trusted sites to medium. I then place my often used sites that I trust
into the trusted sites list. I also do the same for cookies. That enables much safer
browsing, but occasionally I have to change settings temporarily back if a particular
site balks. -- Steve
