My thoughts would be to do the following, Map a network
drive to C$ on affected machine and then open a DOS prompt
and do a dir "netdriveletter":\Documents and Settings\%
username%\Startup. See if there is anything in there that
could be causing it by running when you start up/log in,
to be safe I would move one thing out at a time and see if
one thing is causing it. If you don't get any resolution
from that, use regedit and connect to remote registry and
check
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio
n\Run\ and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER|SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Run\, anything you find in those you are not familiar
with do some googling on and see what you can find on
them. Or post back here and I will see if I can make out
anything that may be causing your problem.
If none of trhat solves it I would take a look at the
system and app logs of the server through event viewer and
see if there is any explanation of it in there. Hope this
helps....
