Virus Problems - copy paste + more

I got a virus on the machines at work recently and here are
the symptoms:
1. Cannot copy/paste in application or with files in OS
2. Cannot run Excel, I get error "Cannot use object
linking and embedding" and the application crashes.
3. Cannot run service pack 4 or update for msblast virus.
 Application hangs on update.
4. Internet explorer cannot open new browser windows and
cannot go to the windows update site.

Please let me know if you have experienced this problem and
how I can fix it. I am running Windows 2000 Server and
Professional.
