I set up a small network in our home. We have our main
computer running Windows 2000 in the living room. My son
has a computer running Windows XP Home in his room and I
have my laptop running Windows 2000. We set up a
workgroup named MSHOME. I set up a shared folder on the
main computer which contains documents and mp3. I wanted
to know how to set up the computers so my son doesn't get
prompted for his username and password when accessing the
shared folder on the main computer. I've tried
manipulating everything on both computers but you always
have to type in a username and password from his machine.
I can open my media player from my laptop and play mp3s
from the main computer and never have to type in a
username and password. Can anyone help?
