You need to be an administrator or know administrator credentials to
change tcp/ip settings in a W2K computer. One option would be to configure
computer to be a dhcp client and then use one of those economical cable/dsl
routers to manage your dsl connection. The router will also act as a basic
nat/pat firewall and have a built in switch. --- Steve
