blocking pop-ups

I am recieving many pop-ups from "messenger service". I
have norton, zonealarm plus and microsoft security. One of
these pop-ups stated that they enter thru my "MS Windows
Messenger". Where do I re-configure settings for the
blockage of these extreme annoyances? TFL...
