Check the properties for the security logging in Event Viewer. It may
be set to do not overwrite events when log becomes full. You may want to
change that and/or increase the size of the log. There is a local security
policy on all W2K machines and settings may or may not be overridden at
domain/OU level. By default domain controllers do not let regular users log
on interactively. Check the "effective" local security policy of the machine
in question for the user right to log on locally - any entries in deny log
on locally will override that setting though. --- Steve
