Administrator Password Changed

I believe I've been hacked. My administrative password
has been changed and all other users rights have been
changed frome either Administrator or Power user to user.
I still have access to the computer from another networked
computer so I can save important files. I want to know if
there's a way to reset the Administrator password or do I
have to reformat and re-install windows 2000 pro?
