There can be only 1 PDC per domain ( NT or 2000 )

If you install a Windows 2000 server into your NT 4.0 domain it will become
the PDC for the NT 4.0 domain. While there is no 'PDC' in a Windows 2000 AD
domain, there are certain functions that are still handled by a single DC
and as such this server is called the PDC emulator.
