On the local w2K computer the password hashes are stored in the
local sam. Even though they are encrypted, they can be broken or reset if
someone gains physical access to your computer/hardrive. A vulnerability not
unique to Windows W2K. If you can secure your computer fairly well,
including locking the case, then you may also want to look into protecting
your computer from booting with a cmos password. --- Steve
