Yikes. I've sometimes have to reapply the patch to the server, but I've
never had it fail altogether. However, I will take the opportunity to note
that, due to this on-going pain-in-the-ass, I've had several clients choose
alternate products. There are a lot of cool interfaces to a variety of open
source CA's, as well as any number of off-the-shelf products with which I've
had varied success.
