I get this error due to "The Security ID Structure is
invalid" message at boot-up of me Win2K pro box. I don't
get an error code, just this....
Security Accounts Manager initialization failed because of
the following error: The security ID structure is invalid.
Error Status 0xc0000078. Please click OK to shutdown this
system and reboot into Safe Mode, check the event log for
more detailed information"
Well, I have rebooted, rebooted in safe mode, rebooted in
last known configuration, let it sit for a while, etc....
and it will not let us in. Safe mode gives us the same
error screen. If any has any advice it will be greatly
appreciated. I have a LOT of important data that I can't
afford to lose.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
