Hello all,
I have a 2003 standard server when users try accessing shares on this server
using the UNC name they are denied the ability to write even if they have
permissions. But if the same users login to the same box using Terminal
Services they can write to these shares according to there effective rights.
Also, if I am not authenticated to the domain and try to access the server
using the UNC name instead of being challenged for a username and password
like it should it automatically shows the contents of the share, but because
there was no authentication access is denied.
I have this same configuration on another box, the only difference is it is
running enterprise and it is RC2. Is there something that I am missing?
Does anyone have an idea because this is driving me crazy.
Thanks in advance,
Roger
