Hi,
Some Microsoft products (mostly home usage) are not designed for the NT
family of Windows (
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B307091 ). To run
these applications you can have your family use administrative accounts with
runas and deny these accounts access from network.
They'll be ready to be Windows admin !-)
Regards.
