The login event does not appear in server event viewer despite auditing. On
the client side "No Domain Controller is available for domain" is the event
logged.

I have isolated the problem to wireless and VPN clients. Performing a
logoff/logon correct the problem. I am just wondering why the problem occurs
to begin with.

I am able to ping the DC, I am able to see the server, it just won't allow
me to access the shared resources.
