How good is your firewall? How well can you identify the
remote workstation/user logging on? Are you able to keep
hackers out of your LAN with only the included tools? How
much trouble are you in if your data leaks into
unauthorized hands?
If you're not extremely positive about each, better to put
your trust in VPN, encryption and digital authentication
ahead of your Win2k userid and password.
