log on- password incorrect

It is a bit unclear what you have actually done here. The
fact that you changed your workgroup shouldn't affect your
local machine at all. Have you forgotten your password?
You can always try the built-in user named 'Administrator'
and try it with the password blank, or any password you
can remember. Besides that, slaving the drive into
another w2k/xp machine will get you access to your files --
 And Yes, there are ways to crack into it...
