unknown hard error lsass.exe

After the latest w2000 patch my system has become
unstable, first time the OS has crashed for over a year.
On a out of the blue system crash (first ever running
ntfs) I got the following:
unknown hard error
lsass.exe
I did another reset and luckily it booted so here I am
wondering if the last patch just sunk my box. Will try to
relog as admin and try to get the log list. Any
suggestions?
