local admin rights for domain user on member server ?
Hi,
I have a windows 2000 domain running AD. I added a windows 2000 members
server for development purposes. I need a domain user to have full admin
rights to this member server only. I need them to logon with there normal
Domain User logon to this server.
When right clicking My Computer, selecting Manage, selecting Users and
Group, I can add a local user only i.e I cannot browse AD for the domain
user. I need to see AD so I can add the DOMAIN USER to the member server
local list so I can allocate ADMIN rights to this user.
NB: Windows 2000 pro allows you to add a domain user to locally (allowing me
to browse AD and then allocate ADMIN rights to the local machine).
Any idea how I can implement this on the member server ?
Thanks
Scott Scotland.
