If it's just specific registry entries, try using REGEDT32 as Administrator
to change the permissions on those registry values.
Or, you could do something like use a Runas icon to launch REGEDIT or
REGEDT32 as Administrator. There are ways to do this without having to know
or enter the password every time, though this is not necessarily 100% secure
from abuse and misuse:
