Hello,

thanks for your questions. The Windows directory I mentioned
is the w2k WINNT directory. I used the wrong name.
I installed w2k on a new computer, without Windows NT. I
experencied with installing w2k, and after a new installation the
rights on folders are correct. (read rights for the users on the winnt
directory, etc). But for some strange reason our production w2k
systems all have full controls rights for the users on those folders.
Could this have to do with the fact that domain users are given
administrator
rights? Or with the fact that these domain users are member of the local
administrator group, AND the local everyone group. Is it possible that
that changed the rights for the user group? Otherwise I don't know why
the rights have changed.
