Hi Roy. There is a way using group policy. However the catch is that by
default ALL users on a stand alone machine get the same settings, though
there are workarounds (I have not tried the second link, but it looks the
easiest ) if you want to try it. Just be sure not to lock yourself out and
get the machine the way you want it before doing the hack. Type gpedit.msc
in the run box to bring up the group policy editor to make the changes you
want. I also suggest you set your cmos to only boot from hard drive and
password protect your cmos config so that your friends can not change it to
boot from floppy to hack your system. Disable autorun on your cdrom also.
Also enable auditing for log on success/failure and account management to
monitor in event viewer to check what they are up to. --- Steve
