I want to be able to create a certificate request for a computer that is
not connected to the network.

All methods for obtaining a cert assume that network connectivity is
available so you either use the Certificates snap-in or the enrollment web
page.

My client is using a wireless adapter and requires a computer cert to get
access to the network via IEEE 802.1X authentication.

Since it is not connected to the network how do I create a request that I
can take to the Root CA so I can get a certificate and import it into the
clients store?

Cert server is Win2K SP3.

Thanks
