thanks. I guess what i meant in the question was having a stand-alone CA is
for use on the Internet or non domain accounts. A standalone can issue all
kinds of cert's like client certificates for example.What is its use then if
issuing client certs is not viable anyway. SSL only requires a server cert
your end(only one of many available certificates) , but a stand-alone can
issue all types.
