Michael:

Do not take this as an endorsement of your need to give users local admin
rights. I think this is extremely dangerous and ultimately makes your life,
as an IS worker, more difficult.

That said, on the client machine, add the users domain account to the local
administrators group. Do not create a new account, just open the local
administrators group, click "ADD", select the domain where the account
resides, and select the account. This will only work if the machine is part
of the domain (not a workgroup)

I am not familiar where "Local Users and Groups" is in XP, but in Windows
2000 it is under Computer Management (Right-Click "My Computer", select
"Manage")
