           I am not sure what you are trying to do. You might want to try to
change the the priority order of you network connections to make the pppoe
adapter first in order under network connections/advanced/advanced settings.
Or better yet do like I did and get one of those consumer grade cable/dsl
routers and set that up for pppoe. --- Steve
