    It's remote control software that, if you're running it without a
    password, lets anyone on the Internet who knows your IP address to operate
    your computer. Unless of course you're behind a firewall that blocks that
    traffic.

    If you didn't install it it was probably loaded as part of a virus/trojan
    horse package.
