just got a new IBM Thinkpad A30 from work with W2k Pro.
I did something stupid. It was originally setup to login to a work domain
(which I didnt need for my old system to get access to work) , but since I
was having sharing problems with the new laptop I changed the settings to
the same Workgroup as my desktop PC that I have connected to my home lan.
Now I can't login into my laptop anymore.
I dont believe I have Administrator access for my user name, but shouldnt I
have login access using Computer name instead? (because even though the
latop had been previous setup with a domain... it wasnt actually connecting
to the domain server. it was only a local password.) I've tried all
combinations, but I can't get past the login screen. Is there any way I
can change it back or login without Administrator access?
