Actually I just figured out the answer. After the PDC
upgrade to W2K I was left with disjointed name space. AD
domain is abc-xyz.com and the machine's domain suffix is
abc.com. NetLogon registers a bunch of records with DNS
for AD related info, with disjointed name space this
fails. Common error message on all XP machines was event
id# 1054 . The server had an event id# 5781 referencing
dynamic DNS registration failing. Anyway between these
two errors, DNS seems to be the culprit. I will be fixing
the name space issue soon and will post the outcome.

Thanks
Chris
