Which version? I'm running 5 just fine after performing some file
permissions tweaks.

A friend recently installed Win2k and a more recent QB version and can't
get it to work. He mentioned Intuit saying that it can't be done. Duh!

Run this loged in as an administrator.

Check out permissions on the printers.
