I'm not quite sure what "Friend Greetings" is, but are these messages that
pop up on your screen regardless of what you're doing? If so, a quick
solution is to disable Messenger Service (Control Panel, Services), but a
better solution is to try to figure out how they're coming to you, and block
them via a firewall.
