No. I learned the hard way too. I just learned very early how easy it was
to get hacked. Denial is really strong. I have several friends that I
can't convince to take security seriously no matter how much evidence I show
them. I don't consider them to be idiots, just living in denial. Sooner or
later they are going to get hacked. I may too, but I make it as hard as
possible with the skills I do have. I keep everything patched, avoid the
places where hackers are known to troll, and keep virus definitions up to
date on a frequent schedule.
My apologies-- for whatever they're worth--I re-read my post and can see why
I offended you. You know what they say--the mouth runs fastest when the
brains in neutral.
