Password protected screen saver...

You didn't state how long you are waiting after the
screensaver kicks in before you try it. Just thought I'd
mention that there is a brief 'window of opportunity'
right after the screensaver kicks in during which you are
not prompted for the password. If you've waited more than
5 seconds or so and it still doesn't prompt you for a
password, then something is definitely wrong.
