If your trying to log on as a domain admin and cannot, try
logging on to the local machine as the local admin. This
will at least enable you to add someone from the domain to
the local admin group so you can log in.
If you can log in a domain admin, but not a local admin,
then you can change the local admin password from the
domain admin account.
Hope this is what you were looking for.
