Thanks for your reply Russ,
i am a private home user, but occassionally i bring my
laptop into work to connect to the server. I can't
obviously try to connect to the server as the
aministrator, but can scripts and permissions set for my
account on the server spill over and control the
administrative controls on my laptop when i try to log in
onto laptop alone?.
i know the company has installed new controls on work pc
to prevent all employees from installing private software,
but surely i should be able to do wawnt i want with my pc,
and i'm just not sure where to change all privileges back
to my full control.
thanks for your time.
