Increasing text size within LegalNoticeText - Registry

Yes it can be done, but it isn't easy.

Warning: These instructions involve modifying a W2K DLL
file and could cause your system to become unstable.
Therefore, I do not recommend doing this.

The popup window is from MSGina.dll which reads the text
from the registry entries. Using the Resource Hacker tool
(available from
http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/) open
MSGina.dll, open the 2500 dialog entry, amend the font
size and hit the Compile Script button. This will show you
the size of the popup window.

As this file is a protected DLL you'll need to save it
with another name otherwise your changes will be lost.
Then boot into DOS and rename the saved file to
MSGINA.DLL, having taken a backup of the original of
course. Note if you have an NTFS partition you'll need a
utility like NTFSDOS to mount it.

Boot back into W2K, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL and your warning will
be in the text size you specified!
