Wondering if anyone out there may have some knowledge on
auditing print jobs.
I need to be able to monitor if a print job prints on a
shared printer at another destination. The job being
monitored is only driven if I release the print job from a
software application that is only on my machine and does
not work over the network. The print job, however, is
sent via the network to a shared printer.
The software application is a postal database and (again)
is not shared over the network. What I would like to be
able to do is generate a report on that shared printer
that will tell me the status (success/failure) of all jobs
(Document name USPS Positive) that print from that print
que.
Anyone have any advice??
Thanks in advance.
Mia
