Hi.
I've got 3 servers. The first is set up as a Active Directory Domain
controller, the second, simply added as a client machine into the domain,
and the third a server not in the first's domain at all.
On the second, I can access the other two machines fine. I log on with an
AD admin account, and I can access the first without any problems. All
three machines shows up in Network Neighbourhood. The third machine
allows me to access all the others, as long as I enter a domain account
when prompted that has the access to do so.
The problem is the first machine. For some or other unknown reason, I
can't access any of the shares on the second machine from the first. All
it gives me when I try something like start->run->\\machine2 is a "Access
Denied". I even enabled auditing on the second, but no messages in the
event log.
I went through all the local/domain/dc Security Policies, but don't see
anything relevant.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Joe
