You shouldn't cross post like this without setting a *specific* newsgroup
for FollowUps so all answers come back to that one specific group you set
Followups to. How can you keep track of them all anyway?

To do this between Unix/Linux and AD, you will need a couple tools installed
on both Linux and AD. These are LDAP tools that utilize Kerberos for
authentication and integration between the two. I think it's more than what
you're looking for or maybe want to spend, since after all you're using
Linux. I would use something else other than Squid like ISA Server to
control this.
