I'd first want to block it using a firewall. Not only do you have to block
the ports commonly used by AIM, but because it can also use TCP 80 and other
common ports, you also have to block any and all access to their logon
server IP addresses. Search www.google.com for something like "block aim
firewall tcp" and you'll find many pages explaining which IP address ranges
and ports to block.
