I have a pc running Win2000 Pro SP2. It is the server for
a WinME pc. I want to share an ACCESS 2000 database with
the ME pc, so have gone into the "files" Properties then
Security settings to establish a Guest account for this
database. Unfortunately, the Win2000 pc wipes out the
Guest account settings on an unpredictable basis making
the database unavailable to the ME pc. I have repeatedly
setup the Guest and even the Everyone accounts with the
same result; the Win2000 erases the account that I setup.
This only occurs with this Access 2000 database. The Word
and Excel files shared via the Everyone account are
available all of the time. Any ideas?
