Hi,

Check the Security Policy for user accounts in your
domain. You may have the option "Passwords must meet
complexity requirements" enabled. Under normal
circumstances this option disallows the creation of
passwords which match the username, however if you've used
some sort of batch creation of users the call to the Dll
which checks passwords may somehow have been bypassed. If
the policy is in-place, you may find that the change
password utility is not happy with the fact that the
original password is the same as the username and errors
out because of this...

Just an idea...

Cheers,
Sam.
