It is possible this is actually regarding you're computer's network
account in the domain. Just like you have an account, your computer--when
part of a domain--also has one.
To reset this you need to open Server Manager on a
domain controller and delete your computer from the domain, then recreate
it, either from Server Manager or by logging into your computer as an
administrator, removing it from the domain, then rejoining it to the
domain.
Removing/joining a domain is done via the Network Identification button on
the System control panel.
One caveat: make sure you know the W2k Pro's local administrator password before
removing this from a domain, or else you may not be able to log into it
ever again.
