I have read the threads relating to this issue, but nothing seems to
help. As soon as I open the CA MMC applet, I get "Access is denied"
0x5 (5)". I cannot start my certificate services manually, either,
and it doesn't help to change the logon information for that service.
The error message I get in Event viewer is:
Certificate Services did not start: Could not build CA certificate
chain for MyDomain.com. Access is denied. 0x80070005 (WIN32: 5).
Windows 2000 Server SP2
No backups of the config
Not sure what to do next...
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron
